If you consider yourself a serial tinkerer, please come bring the vision of our Men's Shed to life!

We are seeking a lead volunteer and one or two team members who are passionate to connect with Male Residents to create a Men's Shed like gathering on site at our Dementia Village in Caulfield. If you have an interest in all things related to D.I.Y. projects, gardening, getting outdoors for a walk, woodwork, mechanics, sitting to have a cuppa and a chat then this role is for you!

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
