Key Responsibilities

Grant Research: Identify and research prospective grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private organisations that align with our mission.

Proposal Writing: Write compelling, well-structured grant proposals, tailored to specific funding criteria and guidelines.

Data Collection: Collaborate with the team to gather data, program details, and financial information needed for grant applications.

Grant Submission: Ensure all applications are submitted accurately and on time, meeting all deadlines and requirements.

Reporting: Assist with preparing progress reports and updates for awarded grants, demonstrating impact and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with funding bodies, ensuring long-term engagement and support.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in grant writing or fundraising for nonprofit organisations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling proposals.

  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, particularly in the nonprofit or education sectors.

  • Familiarity with grant databases, funding platforms, and application processes.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
