Grant Writer Volunteer

Key Responsibilities
Grant Research: Identify and research prospective grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private organisations that align with our mission.
Proposal Writing: Write compelling, well-structured grant proposals, tailored to specific funding criteria and guidelines.
Data Collection: Collaborate with the team to gather data, program details, and financial information needed for grant applications.
Grant Submission: Ensure all applications are submitted accurately and on time, meeting all deadlines and requirements.
Reporting: Assist with preparing progress reports and updates for awarded grants, demonstrating impact and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with funding bodies, ensuring long-term engagement and support.
Skills & Experience

Proven experience in grant writing or fundraising for nonprofit organisations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling proposals.

Knowledge of fundraising principles, particularly in the nonprofit or education sectors.

Familiarity with grant databases, funding platforms, and application processes.
