Responsibilities:

Moderation & Supervision: Under the direction of the Facebook Group Administrator, you’ll moderate and oversee the Endometriosis Western Australia Warriors Facebook group on your rostered day (1 day per week), ensuring compliance with group rules and EndoWA’s policies.

Timely Action: Respond to outstanding items and member posts at least once every 4 hours on your scheduled day.

Roster Flexibility: If you're unable to moderate on your rostered day, it’s your responsibility to arrange coverage or switch days with another moderator.

Group Rules & Guidelines: Ensure that all group activity adheres to the group’s rules, Endometriosis WA’s policies, and Facebook Community Guidelines.

Welcoming Members: Greet and assist new group members to help them feel welcomed and supported.

Engage & Initiate Content: Encourage positive discussions, share relevant resources, and help initiate valuable content within the group.

Privacy & Confidentiality: Always maintain the confidentiality of all group members and group administration.

Foster a Safe Environment: Contribute to creating a space where members feel comfortable to share their experiences and seek advice without fear of judgment.
About you:
The ideal candidate has:

Has exceptional communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanour.

Possesses sound knowledge of compliance, particularly regarding online community management.

Is confident using Facebook tools and processes.

Works well in a team environment and enjoys collaborating with others.

Demonstrates empathy for individuals experiencing hardship or trauma.
-
Has strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Is reliable and committed to the role.

Has lived experience of endometriosis

Shares a passion for EndoWA’s mission to advocate for and support individuals affected by endometriosis.

Can always remain objective and professional in the support group.
