Event Navigator/Connector
Do you enjoy meeting new people, helping others, and being around dogs? Join us as a Navigator/Connector for our special dog-themed community event celebrating International Day of People with Disability! In this role, you’ll greet attendees, provide directions, and assist with specific needs to ensure everyone enjoys a fun and inclusive experience with their furry friends.
Key Duties
- Greet attendees warmly upon arrival and answer any initial questions.
- Provide directions to event areas such as the BBQ, photoshoot tent, photo booth, restrooms, and more.
- Assist attendees with mobility or sensory needs as they navigate the venue.
- Engage with attendees and their dogs to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Communicate specific attendee needs or issues to the lead coordinator or event team.
Skills and Experience
- Friendly and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people (and their dogs!) from all walks of life.
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in a busy event setting.
- No prior experience required—just a passion for helping others and being part of a dog-loving community.
