The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in South East Sydney.

We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit an Elderly Man living in Como. He is passionate about fishing, current affairs, history, sports and politics. And would enjoy meeting someone to visit for a cuppa and a chat or to head out into the sun and potter in the garden together.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
