Public Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to promote the organisation’s mission and programs.
- Craft compelling press releases, articles and social media content.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate media requests and prepare spokespeople for interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and analyse public opinion.
- Organise and manage events such as press conferences, fundraising events and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Provide group training to members at a club level.
- Assist in managing crisis communication and developing strategies to manage public relations crises.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
- Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for helping children and commitment to the organisation’s mission.
