The Saroni Roy Foundation (SRf) is an ACNC-registered not-for-profit based in Sydney, dedicated to fostering a safer, fairer, and more sustainable world. SRf’s mission is to inspire and engage multicultural communities and Global Citizens in creating lasting positive change through peace education and Gandhian values. SRf promotes inclusivity, diversity, and impactful dialogue on pressing global issues through partnerships and initiatives rooted in the "Cultural, Creative & Circular Economy." Our goal is to support socio-economic and environmental well-being, fostering an equitable and peaceful world.

Volunteer Roles Available:
1. Social Media Volunteer
- Create and schedule engaging content for SRf’s social media platforms.
- Build SRf’s online presence by engaging with communities, influencers, and partners.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and encourage engagement.
- Track metrics and report on campaign performance to improve strategies.
2. Digital Marketing Volunteer
- Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns to promote SRf’s events.
- Design content for newsletters, the SRf website, and digital ads.
- Analyze campaign data and support SEO for improved user engagement.
3. Event Management/Event Coordinator Volunteer
- Organize and coordinate SRf events, including Gender-Equity, and Cultural Diversity Collective festivals.
- Manage logistics, venue setup, and scheduling for a seamless event experience.
4. Community Services Volunteer (Fundraising, Sponsorship)
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
- Engage community partners and secure sponsorships to amplify outreach.
5. PR, Communications & Media Relations Volunteer
- Draft press releases and manage SRf’s media presence.
- Maintain media contacts and scale up the SRf brand.
6. Film & Media Volunteer
- Create and edit video content, including event videography.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to produce short films and documentaries.
7. E-commerce, Content Writer & Grant Application Writer
- Update and optimize website content for SEO.
- Write grant applications and proposals to support SRf’s programs.
- Manage e-commerce and merchandising activities.
8. Project Manager/Program Manager
- Oversee program plans, budgets, and resources for SRf initiatives.
- Engage stakeholders, build partnerships, and secure sponsorships.
- Take charge of project delivery, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
9. Treasurer/Accountant
- Prepare and submit ACNC-compliant financial reports.
- Manage accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
10. Business Development Manager (BDM)
- Create growth strategies to increase SRf’s financial viability.
- Build and maintain client relationships, draft proposals, and negotiate contracts.
What We’re Looking For:
- University students or professionals from diverse backgrounds seeking experience in Community Work, Project Management, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Event Management, Business, Legal & Finance.
- Individuals passionate about diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with availability for major events.
