Achieve this and make a difference to a socially isolated and lonely older person through the formation of a meaningful and lasting friendship. The Australian Government funded Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) matches older people with volunteers who have similar interests and life experiences for weekly social visits.

Doncare's Social Support Programs team will match you with your recipient as well as provide training and ongoing support.
