We are looking for a volunteer for a lady in Aged Care in Glen Waverley who loves to have a joke and a laugh! She would benefit from 1 on 1 social interaction with someone who is kind with a good sense of humour. She also enjoys a little pampering, getting her nails done, hand massages and music.

A little about us: MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music, dabble in arts, play a board game or anything else of interest. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to 1hr fortnightly visits at minimum (weekly is best) for a minimum of 6 months/ongoing.

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome, but must be over 18+ yrs old.

MS Plus believes in a person-to-person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies.
