As a volunteer LST you would be required to assist the student with literacy. He is very hard working and academically minded but has missed quite a lot of school because of his illness. LST's can be retired teachers or student teachers or anyone who has past experience tutoring literacy. ESL teaching experience would also be highly regarded. Tutoring is online and is totally flexible to suit the needs of the tutor and the student. This is your opportunity to make a real difference to a child who has fallen behind in their education and needs your help. As this position is online potential tutors can reside in any State in Australia but must be a permanent resident.
