Key Duties:

• Research suitable grant opportunities from foundations, government programs, and corporate funders. • Write and assist with compelling grant applications that clearly outline Tanya’s Home’s mission, programs, and impact. • Collaborate with the Executive Director to gather relevant information for grant applications, including budgets, program descriptions, and organisational details. • Track grant deadlines and support timely submission of applications. • Assist with progress updates or acquittal reporting for any successful grants, where required.

Skills and Experience Needed:

• Strong written communication and research skills. • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Previous experience in grant writing or fundraising is helpful but not required. • A genuine interest in community services, social impact, or supporting vulnerable populations.

Organisational Background:

Tanya’s Home is a Victorian-based charity supporting mothers experiencing substance use disorder through outreach, advocacy, emotional support, and recovery-focused programs. We work alongside community services, health providers, and rehabilitation services to support long-term recovery and family reunification. Funding secured through this role will help strengthen and expand our current services and support future program development.
