Academic Success Tutor

**Key Responsibilities: **
- Offer one-on-one tutoring to help Yalari students excel in their academic pursuits.
- Provide guidance and support, mentoring students across different subjects, tailored to their needs.
**Details: **
- Hours: Approximately one hour per week after school hours.
- Commitment: Weekly sessions for at least one full school term, with a preference for candidates willing to commit to multiple school terms.
- Subjects: English, Maths, Science, and other electives such as Humanities.
- Location: Tutors will visit Yalari students at their boarding schools. You can find the full list of our partner schools at yalari.org
**Requirements: **
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- You will be considerate of students Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, supporting their educational journey in a culturally respectful and affirming way. Both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Volunteers are encouraged to apply.
**Desirable Qualifications (not required): **
- Possess a background in education or tutoring.
- Experience working with or supporting individuals with neuro-diverse conditions.
