Volunteer Treasurer (Finance Director)

We are seeking a Treasurer to support Nakuru Hope in the following areas: • Support the organisation to comply with tax regulations, including DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient); • Ensure the Board understands its financial obligations; • You will be responsible for the budget preparation in conjunction with Board Members; • Regularly keep track of the outgoings and incomings through the year so that the organisation knows how well they are keeping to budget; • Support the bookkeeper to maintain up–to–date records as well as an audit trail; • Prepare reports for the Board the management that will show both the current situation and the possibilities for the future. Experience in systems such as Xero is essential.
Experience in Raisely would be advantageous. Expenses will be reimbursed. You will have the support of a Bookkeeper and that of the Board. Applicants will need to be based in Western Australia. Please contact Bianca Starcevich bianca@humanitashr.com.au with any questions or please apply now!
