Willoughby City Council's MOSAIC Multicultural Centre is currently seeking a French language teacher to teach adult learners. If you have experience in teaching and would like to share your language with others, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

MOSAIC Multicultural Centre offers a range of activities, classes and programs for residents, ranging from English learning, community languages, leisure activities, social programs and more. Programs are designed to bring our residents together, provide support and promote the sharing of different cultures and interests.

French language classes are currently held online Tuesdays 4.30-5.45pm, however this is flexible.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct language lessons
• Identify and manage students’ learning needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives e.g. service evaluation and review
• Contribute to dissemination of information
• Work under the supervision of the Centre Supervisor
• Adhere to the code of conduct and other council policies

• Native or fluent in French
• Ability to teach adult learners

• Interest in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
