The Treasurer is responsible for discharging activities under the NTA Finance Committee Charter including to : • Establish and monitor financial controls, including ensuring separation of responsibility for transactional banking; • Manage the Association’s bank accounts and monitor its transactions; • Prepare the annual budget for the Association; • Prepare monthly management reports; • Prepare the annual financial statements for the NTA; • Liaise with the external auditor; • Liaise with the Operations Committee on in-country financial matters; • Liaise with the Membership and Marketing Committee on fund raising targets and outcomes; • Ensure all financial reporting obligations are met; • Maintain documentation of key NTA financial procedures; • Manage the NTA’s insurance policies; • Ensure all of the NTA’s legal and taxation compliance obligations are met; • Organise regular external audits of NTA Kupang’s accounts and follow up on audit recommendations.
