Grants Coordinator Volunteer

Are you a retired Grants Manager, Lawyer, Researcher, Academic, Policy developer, or Writing Professional who is looking to Volunteer and make a difference to a charity? The Wisdom Tree international Foundation is a charity with the purposes of providing benevolent relief and advancing the public and social welfare of people in Australia who are in need due to poverty, suffering, distress, misfortune, or helplessness. This position will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Grants Manager, the volunteer Grants Coordinator will manage the following Grants Coordinator duties. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in Identifying potential government, corporate, philanthropic, and community funding opportunities. • Develop and manage the grants calendar for government, corporate, philanthropic, and community bodies, trusts, and foundations. • Assist with the preparation of applications and submissions to potential and current funding partners. • Assist in preparation of reporting, acquittal and regulatory expectations to funding partners and other stakeholders. • Record and report the funding opportunities and outcomes of submissions at appropriate levels of the organisation. Key Skills: • Passion for making a difference to children and their families. • High attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.• Experience in writing and/or researching. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
