Retail Assistance for Murrumbateman Field Days
**About Us
WildTalk is a small charity providing free mental health support to wildlife workers and volunteer across the country. We currently receive no government funding and raise all our funds from private donations and markets, where we advocate for awareness and provide mental health resources.
The Opportunity
We are looking for enthusiastic and capable people to help us throughout the year with our information stall at Murrumbateman Field Days.
We are looking for someone to help support these with setting up the stall, some lifting, talking to members of the public, taking payments, learning about what we do so you can answer questions, and assist with pack down.
By supporting this work, you will directly be helping the care and rehabilitation of Australia's unique wildlife because without funding we are unable to provide the over 30 hours of support fortnightly. In the last financial year we provided over 1500 hours of mental health support.
If you have retail experience that would be a bonus, but not mandatory as we can train you. A go-getter attitude and not afraid to talk with members of the public. Someone who is happy to work alone as well as with others and willing to take the lead at times.
Car and current license.
We are looking for at least 2 people to help cover the whole weekend including set up.
