Medical Advisory Committee Member
Allergy Life Australia is a national non-profit organisation that supports Australians living with allergies. We provide information, support, care and access through a range of initiatives for the community.
We are looking for expressions of interest for Medical Advisory Committee Members who are qualified and experienced health care professionals with a background, specialisation or special interest in allergies.
As a committee member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping information, programs, and initiatives aimed at supporting, informing and improving patient outcomes for people living with allergies across Australia. This is an opportunity to support national allergy health outcomes, contribute to initiatives and programs, and support allergy education and awareness campaigns across all types of allergies (food, pollen, dust mites, insects, pets, drugs, etc) and reactions (anaphylaxis, asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic eczema, etc).
Note: This is open to all health care professionals including Allergists, Immunologists, General Practitioners, Dermatologists, ENTs, Psychologists, Nurses, etc.
About You
- You are a registered Health Care Professional in Australia
- You have a background, specialisation or interest in allergies
- You have clinical experience in managing allergies, allergic reactions and related conditions
- You are committed to helping the allergy community in Australia

- This role is fully remote
- Meetings Frequency: Quarterly Virtual Meetings (4 x times a year, this may increase depending on the committee's discretion)
- Unpaid role
- A letter of engagement can be provided if required for your self-recorded CPD hours
