Spirited Foundation is dedicated to supporting youth impacted by domestic violence and promoting healing through nature. We are driven by the belief that everyone has the power to make a positive impact, and our work depends on the generosity of volunteers like you.

Role Overview: As a community champion, you will play a crucial role in building awareness, engaging with the community, and helping us achieve our mission. This is an opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting youth impacted by domestic violence and are ready to use their skills to inspire and mobilize others.

Key Responsibilities:

Outreach and Engagement: Support efforts to engage with community members, local businesses, and potential supporters by spreading awareness of our cause.

Event Assistance: Help plan, organize, and execute fundraising or awareness events such as our upcoming World’s Largest Ever Paddle Out. Tasks may include event setup, participant coordination, and liaising with vendors and attendees.

Social Media and Communications: Assist in creating and sharing content on social media platforms to raise awareness and promote events. Engage with followers and respond to inquiries about the charity.

Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the team to generate fundraising ideas and support donation drives, including reaching out to local sponsors or assisting in online campaigns.

Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering emails, maintaining contact lists, and distributing promotional materials.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for our mission and a desire to make a difference in the community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Social media savvy or willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in event planning, community outreach, or fundraising (preferred but not required)
  • Commitment to the values of inclusion, respect, and integrity
