Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 24 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty. Main Activities

• Mentoring and communication training with Baptist World Aid’s Communication Team

• Write up incredible stories of transformation from the field for our organisations story hub

• Assist the communication team by contributing to a range of Communication work. This could include emails, articles, social media copy, writing for our magazine, devotionals, and fundraising collateral

Essential

• Strong commitment to Baptist World Aid Australia’s Vision, Mission and Mandate.

• Demonstrated written and spoken English communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.

• Demonstrated computer skills including using Microsoft Word

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Desirable

• Excellent client liaison and relationship skills

• Understanding of Christian principles in development.
