We are currently seeking interested people to become hand care volunteers at a residential care home in Penrith. Hand care volunteers provide a gentle hand massage whilst having a chat with some of our fascinating residents. Volunteers may also paint residents' nails.

This program is so much more than just hand care! It is about communication, relaxation, self-esteem, social contact and sharing stories.

Volunteers also benefit from providing this service by offering ongoing companionship and support to residents, adding to their quality of life while also benefiting from the experiences and wisdom our residents have collected over the years.
