Auditor for Annual Report
National Council of Women of NSW Inc.An independent CPA Auditor is required to review our 23/24 financials and provide a statement for our Annual Report by the 5th September 2024.
Essential: You must be a member of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), or a member of CPA Australia, or a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA, formerly the National Institute of Accountants), and holds a public practice certificate issued by one or more of these bodies.****
You are required to consider the financial statements and confirm that they provide a true and fair view of the association’s financial performance in writing.
The National Council of Women of NSW (NCWNSW) is a 129 year old member organisation who advocates for and influences decisions within political, economic and social shares to create positive impact and change for women in NSW. NCWNSW represent a range of women’s organisations and is a State constituent Council of the National Council of Women Australia and the International Council of Women.
We are an Incorporated Association / NFP and have moved to XERO as of 1/7/23. Ideally we would be looking for this task to be pro-bono, however we can offer a $150 completion payment.
Requirements: Certified CPA. Documents will be need to be sighted.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellence using XERO software Knowledge of Incorporated Associations governance practices and legal requirements (preferred but not essential).
