About Rethink Recycling Rethink Recycling Community (RRC) is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit organisation, inspiring change through education and community involvement. We take plastic lids that traditionally end up in landfill and our environment and remanufacture them into products that have use and purpose. We include aged care and disability sector residents amongst other disadvantaged groups into our community to support their wellbeing and enhance our work.

Key Duties:

• Attend RRC Collection Points in City of Port Phillip to collect lids.
• Assist in washing and sorting lids before dropping them at our MakerSpace in Springvale.
• Attend Community Days and other days the you are available to assist in lid sorting at our MakerSpace in Springvale.

Experience:

• No prior experience necessary!
• Our team will walk you through all that is required to sort lids and save a valuable resource from landfill

About You

• Looking for fun and interactive way to make a positive impact on our plant and the single-use plastic problem
• Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, educational levels, and socio-economic statuses.
