Hospitality at weekend Conference
Our multi-faith climate action organisation, ARRCC, is holding a national Conference on 4 - 6 October, and we need volunteers who don't mind serving and cleaning up after meals and tea breaks. The venue will be Santa Sabina College, 90 The Boulevarde, Strathfield.
You will be extending hospitality to our hard-working supporters who are dedicated to protecting the earth's climate for future generations. We would like them to leave the Conference feeling valued and nurtured, ready to continue their good work.
Duties will basically be:
- setting up tables for either meals or tea breaks;
- keep tea, coffee, biscuits, etc, available;
- put out juice at dinner times; on Friday night assist with pouring grape juice during Kiddush;
- Saturday evening’s conference dinner will need tables and chairs put out, and tables will need table covers;
- assist with loading dishwasher or washing up as needed (washable plates and cutlery will be used);
- clean away rubbish.
