We’re seeking male volunteers to join our Men’s Volunteer Program, where you can contribute your skills and interests to enhance the lives of elderly residents in our aged care home.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage in a variety of activities, such as DIY projects, games, or crafts
- Share your skills and interests with residents through interactive sessions
- Participate in activities that promote engagement and connection
- Foster a supportive and friendly environment through regular visits
Why Volunteer? Volunteering provides a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents by sharing your time and talents. By joining our program, you’ll help create a lively and engaging atmosphere that combats loneliness and enhances daily life.
Program Details:
- Commitment: Ideally you will be available for a minimum of 20 sessions per year, ideally one session every two to three weeks, lasting 1 hour or so per session.
- Requirements: You will be over 18 and willing to pass a National Criminal History Check (provided and paid for) and be consistently available.

- Volunteers with a range of interests and skills, including DIY, crafts, or interactive games
- Individuals who enjoy engaging with others and creating positive experiences
- Reliable and punctual volunteers who can build meaningful connections with residents
