Be the first point of contact in the welcoming front reception space in our Newcastle Hunter Street Hub or Maitland High Street Community Support Hubs. Be the back bone behind the Volunteers and Members that provide the essential community support to those doing it tough in the community.

Volunteering is a great way to interact with like-minded people and build friendships. Feel satisfied knowing you are working for an organisation that makes a difference for those in need.

  • Meet and greet of visitors to the hub spaces
  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome
  • Monitor diary and calendars for bookings
  • Assist with back end administration data entry and database management
  • Keep resources up to date and available for community members seeking support
  • Provide back up and assistance to the Community Support Volunteers and Members that assist people with food, financial and other material relief
