Wattle Hill is part of the Bunbury Community and we're inviting our community to connect with our aged residents, providing positive engagement and companionship. Having fun with residents and providing them with quality time is our main purpose for volunteers at the moment.

We’re happy to have retirees or anyone with free time to pop in for a chat. You don’t need to be here all day. .We’re happy to have volunteers for one hour or eight hours a day (between 9am and 5pm). As a volunteer you'll visit our residents and take part in activities with them such as:

• Having a cuppa and chat
• Assisting with phone catch ups
• Assisting with hobbies
• Playing cards/games
• Going for walks
• Reading and learning about topics of interest to our clients
• Providing companionship. Weekday companions are preferred as there will be more staff available to support you.
