Role Overview: As a Connect Program Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in alleviating social isolation among seniors in the Woollahra community. Your primary responsibilities will include visiting a senior client once every fortnight to offer companionship and engage in enjoyable activities together.

Key Responsibilities:

*Companionship: Spend time with a senior client on a bi-weekly basis, providing friendly conversation and support.

*Engagement Activities: Participate in activities that foster connection and enjoyment, such as sharing a cup of tea, going for a walk in the neighborhood, or engaging in other mutually enjoyable pastimes.

*Active Listening: Be attentive and responsive to the senior client’s needs and interests, fostering a supportive and empathetic relationship.

*Respect and Dignity: Maintain a respectful and non-judgmental approach, ensuring that interactions are conducted with the utmost consideration for the client's preferences and comfort.

*-Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the senior client, maintaining discretion regarding personal information.

*Background Check: Completion of a criminal background check as required by Holdsworth.

*Training: Participation in an orientation and training program provided by Holdsworth.
