About Us: The Global Women Peace Foundation (GWPF) is dedicated to empowering women globally by promoting peace, leadership, education, equality, and inclusion. We organize events, conferences, and programs that inspire women to chase their dreams, overcome fears, and build the lives they were born to live. Our initiatives span across multiple areas including confidence building, health and wellbeing, finance, relationships, and more. We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to join our team and ensure our technological infrastructure is robust and efficient.

Job Summary: As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the IT operations of GWPF. This includes maintaining and improving our IT systems, ensuring data security, and providing technical support to our staff and volunteers. Your role will be crucial in enhancing our digital capabilities and supporting the overall mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ensure the security of all IT systems and data, implementing and updating security measures as needed.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and volunteers.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of IT systems to ensure they are meeting the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades or new technologies to improve operations.
  • Manage relationships with IT service providers and vendors.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IT management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
