We are seeking compassionate volunteers to assist clients with the NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme) program as interpreters. Your involvement will be crucial in helping non-English speaking clients navigate the NILS process and access vital financial support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Vietnamese-speaking clients in understanding and completing NILS applications and related documentation.
• Facilitate clear communication between clients and NILS program staff.
• Provide accurate translations of conversations and documents (as needed), ensuring that clients fully grasp the terms and conditions of the loans.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Prior interpreting experience is advantageous but not required.
