The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Heathgrove Study Centre.

Use your community social skills and help us with our fundraising and promotion. You will be attending local cafes and businesses for hamper donations or financial sponsorship for Heathgrove activities. Fundraising can also be conducted over the phone.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Understand what Heathgrove is about
• Determine which local shops could support Heathgrove's activities
• Bring a friend and visit or phone those shops and promote Heathgrove's activities advising what's in it for the shops
• Ask for donations or sponsorship or rewards
• Provide them with Heathgrove's business card and marketing material
• Thank the shop owner
