MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteers share stories, help with a hobby, interest or activity, share a cuppa and a chat, enjoy a walk, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have an 87 year old gentleman who lives at an Aged Care Home in Newport who would enjoy a male Maltese speaking visitor to chat with, listen to music and visit the inhouse cafe.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be caring, reliable and be willing to commit to fortnightly connections for 6-12 months.
