Community Fundraising & Event Coordinator
We are seeking a volunteer Community Fundraising & Event Coordinator to manage a small team of volunteers and to plan and deliver community fundraising activities and events. We rely on grants, donations and support from the community to provide our service so we need to diversify and increase our funding income.
Role & Responsibilities:
- manage and support a small voluntary fundraising and events team,
- develop and deliver community fundraising activities and events, including but not limited to tasks and timelines and monitoring status through to delivery,
- develop existing and new fundraising products, initiatives and events,
- work with local community groups, businesses and organisations, council and government to identify, cultivate and secure new supporters and to grow this revenue stream,
- provide donor care activities to promote donor retention and build the level of support,
- identify and collect materials (e.g. merchandise, signage, publications, video, online communications, mailing materials) to support fundraising activities,
- provide progress updates of specific fundraising activities,
- monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives and events.
