Assisting in the planning and running of a culturally safe and supported programming at the Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. This includes but is not limited to Youth Group, Interactive Gardening Group, Kids Group, Yarn & Art, Playgroup and Koorie School Holiday program (including any future programs and events).

Responsibilities within the volunteer role at the Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place vary within programs and can change according to the activities that are being held. This may also include but is not limited to (listed activities are optional):

» Providing transport for programs » Program facilitation and/or delivery » Community engagement duties » Cleaning duties » Physical components such as room set up, engagement activities etc.
» Supporting the delivery of activities, programs and events that run at Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place. » Actively work with community leaders, parents, other community members and specific agencies in the planning and implementation of all programs and activities. » Support staff and community members as needed. » Assist with camps and excursions (when applicable)
