The UNAA Young Professionals Victoria Network is a collective of like-minded individuals from across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, brought together by our common passion for the work of the United Nations.

Our mission is to connect, empower and build the skills of young professionals to achieve the United Nations Association of Australia’s mission of creating a safer, fairer and more sustainable world.

Are you a proactive and driven event strategist eager to transform a vision into tangible outcomes? Are you eager to harness your skills to create events that unite a community passionate about advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

As the Event Co-Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering events that align with the United Nations' SDGs and connect with our community of young professionals in Victoria. We are looking for someone who is passionate about organising impactful events and making a difference in our cause.

This role involves working alongside another Event Co-Lead and collaborating closely with other Leads and the Co-Presidents to deliver on our mission.

Selection criteria

• Proactive Leadership: A self-motivated and dedicated individual who takes initiative, excels in event and project management, and can lead and inspire teams.
• Effective Organiser: Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, budgeting, and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• International Relations, Human Rights or Sustainability knowledge is preferable
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Event Management/ Project Management/ Program Management is preferable
