Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and supervise weekly activities for participants from the Spanish community.
  • Set up the room and prepare all necessary materials for the sessions.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for participants.
  • Facilitate activities, ensuring they run smoothly, and participants are engaged.
  • Monitor and support participants to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Clean and tidy up the space after the sessions, ensuring it is left in good condition.
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to plan and improve activities. Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Must pass a Criminal History Check.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for supporting the Spanish community and working in a not-for-profit environment. Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in organising and supervising group activities.
  • Previous volunteer experience.
  • First aid certification. Benefits:
