Spanish Community Group Volunteer
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise weekly activities for participants from the Spanish community.
- Set up the room and prepare all necessary materials for the sessions.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for participants.
- Facilitate activities, ensuring they run smoothly, and participants are engaged.
- Monitor and support participants to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Clean and tidy up the space after the sessions, ensuring it is left in good condition.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to plan and improve activities. Requirements:
- Must have a valid Working with Children Check.
- Must pass a Criminal History Check.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting the Spanish community and working in a not-for-profit environment. Preferred Skills:
- Experience in organising and supervising group activities.
- Previous volunteer experience.
