Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.

We are seeking a book lover to join the residents at Miranda in maintaining a library space. You'll engage with people living in aged care to come and sit, read, and enjoy a quiet space to reflect. You will help to sort a variety of books during your visits and be apart of helping residents decide which book they would like to sit and read or just enjoy looking at the pictures.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
