Children’s Rights Queensland (CRQ) is a non-profit organisation with a rich 50-year history of promoting children’s rights and supporting communities. Our mission is to deliver a range of initiatives that educate communities and raise awareness of children’s rights as stated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. CRQ convenes Children’s Week in Queensland, which celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood.
The role of the Sponsorship and Grants Lead is to support the CRQ Executive to secure grants and sponsorships. This role will help to bolster the financial sustainability of CRQ's programs and events by identifying funding opportunities and playing a lead role in the development of funding applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Required to attend meetings of the Executive every 6-8 weeks.
- Lead the identification, application, and management of grant opportunities.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with sponsors and funders.
- Support the promotion of community events throughout the year.
- Identify and apply for event funding.
- Assist with grant and sponsorship acquittals.
- Attend and support Child Rights Alliance meetings.
- Engage CRQ Ambassadors and partners.
- Complete any additional tasks as directed by the CRQ Executive.
