Wellbeing Program Manager

Key duties

  • Oversee and manage various administrative and communication tasks of developing and sustaining HA’s Wellbeing Program
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the Wellbeing Program from HA members and the general public
  • Develop and maintain process/policy documents
  • Develop and maintain wellbeing related website resources
  • Liaise with key HA members and external organisations in formulating ideas and development of the Wellbeing Program
  • Convene individual and group meetings with wellbeing working group members
  • Work with external stakeholders on developing opportunities for collaboration and partnerships
  • Managing the program budget and potential fundraising opportunities
  • Meet online with the CEO and other team members to discuss progress on our programs
  • Contribute ideas about any of our programs in online discussions with other team members
  • Reporting to CEO and Board of Directors on progress with the program

Skills required

  • Qualification/training in a wellbeing related field (e.g. non-religious chaplain/pastoral care; social work/community services; psychology; community mental health first aid)
  • 5 or more years experience in providing wellbeing support in related field of practice as above
  • Understanding of humanism, humanist values, and application of these in wellbeing care
  • Understanding of avenues of wellbeing care across institutions and the community
  • Strong commitment to social justice and strong advocacy skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good technical skills. Our technical stack includes Zoom, GSuite (Google Drive and Gmail), Squarespace (or similar) for web resource development, and Slack for instant messaging. Training will be provided as required.
  • Desirable: Marketing and fundraising training or experience
