MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a delightful lady who would benefit from your friendship. She would like to receive social companionship and enjoy some 1:1 conversations.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits, or at least fortnightly visits, for a minimum of 6 months/ongoing.

Good Polish communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
