We are seeking a patient tech savvy Volunteer Visitor to assist our lovely residents with their mobile phones, tablets and computers. You will help our residents learn how to make calls, send texts, save and access contacts or install apps on their mobile phones or tablets. You may also help the residents with browsing and shopping on the internet safely.

Weekday times 8am - 4pm are available: Flexible fortnightly, ad-hoc or on-call

Volunteer Visitors follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and are not involved in providing personal care to the people they visit.

Please Note: To help us find you the most rewarding and suitable role, you must complete an online registration form, which will be forwarded to you when you apply. Once we receive your registration, we will send a form to request a copy of your two primary COVID-19 vaccinations and your NDIS Workers Screening Check (which you can apply for through us free of charge). Then, a Wesley Mission Queensland representative will contact you to discuss the role further.
