The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in North Sydney.

We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit for one hour on a weekly or fortnightly basis with an elderly lady living in a residential aged care home. She has a love for art, music, mindfulness, coffee and speaks both English and Spanish.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
