The Wesley Family Preservation Team is looking for a flexible and kind volunteer to assist with transporting clients to and from appointments in a provided car (Kia Carnival).

The Wesley Family Preservation team exists to help families stay together and keep children and young people safe. This is a voluntary program where we work alongside families supporting them to thrive, stay safe and grow.

The ideal candidate will have an unrestricted driver’s licence and be able to commit to one full day a week. To provide the care and consistency each family’s needs, this role would suit someone who is looking for a long-term position and is looking to stay engaged or be more involved in the community.

Tasks include:

• Transporting Parents and Children to and from appointments

• Building a good rapport with recipients of the service, creating a kind and relaxed environment for them

• Liaising with the Family Preservation team to ensure a friendly and quality service for the clients

• General upkeep of our vehicle (Refilling Tank and Removing Rubbish)

• Administrative duties associated with the role (record keeping, scheduling)
