We are seeking volunteers to accompany residents to outings, as a Social Volunteer you will provide transportation and join a resident in a visit to a local café, men's shed, shopping centre and other locations near by.

Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people who may be frail, or people living with dementia at our aged care home in North Turramurra.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the residents you are matched with.
