Come and assist a young people to obtain their drivers licence by volunteering to teach them how to drive a motor vehicle. We do not require you to do all 120 hours, however, would appreciate any available time that you have.
We are looking for people who: • Are supportive, patient and understanding. • Have experience interacting with young people. • Have a valid Australian driver’s licence.
What YOTS will provide: • A fully insured car. • Training and support. • The young person will have completed at least 5 hours with a professional driving school and more if necessary.
What this means for our young people: • The opportunity to be independent. • Overcoming an obstacle which can hinder educational or employment opportunities.
If you would like to volunteer, we will help arrange a working with children’s check and police check.
Youth off The Streets is an EEO Employer and a child safe organisation. YOTS is committed to providing a safe environment where all children and young people are treated with respect and are protected from harm. We have zero tolerance for child abuse.
