'Beyond Words - the Biography Program' is a not for profit, volunteer led organisation that believes every older person living in Aged Care in Victoria has a valuable life story to celebrate and leave as their legacy for future generations to know. Our trained volunteer biographers record and compile the rich life stories of older people into biographies to share and celebrate with their families and friends. If you are a media, marketing and communications expert who can devote about 4 hours a week to our valuable mission, we would love to hear from you. You might be retired, semi-retired or a media studies graduate and passionate about celebrating and positively impacting the lives of older Australians and our wonderful volunteers who give their time to capture and edit these biographies. Working online from home in this rewarding volunteer role, your hours are flexible as you spread the word of our free service through newspaper, radio and television stories and help to grow our online presence using your vast experience as a communications expert.
