Position Type: Part Time: 1-2 days per week, flexible working

The Role:
This part-time, flexible role is ideal for a student or flexible worker and someone looking to make an everyday impact on the future of cancer research.
The Marketing Community and Talent Volunteer’s day to day tasks will focus on research and outreach of community groups, influencers and ambassadors that Cure Cancer can align with to amplify their key campaigns (like BarbeCURE, Appeals and Fitness campaigns) in the media and across social media and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
To support the Marketing team to research and recruit talent and communities to align with, participate in and amplify their campaigns:
Influencers and ambassadors:
Desk research influencers and ambassadors who align with Cure Cancer’s cause
Help develop talent proposals ( word powerpoint or canva)
Create some social media content for ambassadors and influencers
Outreach to ambassadors and influencers via email and DMs
Community groups:
Desk research community groups who are likely to participate in Cure Cancer fundraising campaigns.
Create social media content and email content to send to community groups to acquire them and engage them throughout a fundraising campaign.
Skills & Experience:
Essential
Interest in marketing/ publicity / social media
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
A proven eye for detail
Some experience in creating social media content and social media platforms (personal or external/work related)
Ability to follow a clear brief of instruction
Some experience with video editing programmes e.g. adobe creative suite
Desired, but not essential:
Studying for Publicity, Comms, Media or Marketing or qualification
Previous use of a website content management system
Proficient in Canva
Proficient in MS Office

1-2 days a week, flexible hours available.
