About the role

The key purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the Gifts in Wills Specialist, predominantly supporting the Gifts in Wills team to enhance their supporter relationships and support the organisation in its vision of a cancer free future. 

Key accountabilities

  • Digitising historical data (scanning forms and save in the sharepoint folders)
  • Data entry and CRM Management (CRM – Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Events Support (key events include annual recognition event, expo and regional key stakeholder events) – administration (data entry, RSVP, recording of event attendees) and event preparation (name badges, RSVP recording and ad hoc)
  • Nurture phone calls to Gifts in Wills supporters (reaching out for event invites, Daffodil Day / Xmas thank you calls etc). 
  • Ad hoc tasks as required
  • Someone who can volunteer for long-term (minimum of 6 months, ideally longer)
  • The candidate must be able to attend the Woolloomooloo office (5 mins walk from the Kings Cross Station), one or two days a week between Monday to Wednesday, no work from home available

Skills and experience

  • High level of attention to details
  • Proficiency in administration skills ie use of office suite, comfortable with Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Self motivated
  • Pleasant phone manner and comfortable to make calls and follow a basic call script
