Volunteer Treasurer
Key Duties
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of Computers 4 Learning Inc.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to the Management Committee.
- Handle payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare the organisation's annual financial statements.
- Attend Management Committee meetings and contribute to C4L’s decision making.
- Ensure that C4L is compliant with all mandatory financial obligations, including reporting, required by law (e.g. ACNC, ATO)
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and management of records as required.
- Utilise the C4L accounting package.
- Promote C4L when the opportunity arises.
Skills, attributes and experience:
- Previous accounting experience and qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience of the not-for-profit sector in Australia will be highly regarded.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- High ethical standards
- Proficiency with standard accounting software.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills
