Fundraising Manager Needed to Boost Maternal Mental Health Awareness!
The Fundraising Manager (Volunteer) for The Nurtured Village Hampers (TNVH) is a volunteer position, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our fundraising initiatives. You will lead efforts to identify, secure, and manage funding opportunities, ensuring that our programs receive the financial support they need to thrive. Additionally, you will develop and implement fundraising campaigns, cultivate donor relationships, and explore new revenue streams.
95% of mums report feeling loneliness in motherhood. The Nurtured Village Hampers is a grassroots maternal mental health charity bringing back the traditional village of support for young families.
You will play a crucial role in advancing TNVH's mission by contributing to and advising the organisation's fundraising strategy. This remote position allows you to contribute your skills and expertise from any location in Australia on a flexible schedule of your choosing. Familiarity with online fundraising platforms, content creation, website management, and CRM software is essential. The successful candidate will be tech-savvy, adaptable to emerging technologies, and possess a passion for making a positive impact in the maternal mental health sector.
The role reports directly to the Founding Director and must uphold and work within the guidelines, policies, mission, and values of The Nurtured Village Hampers.
Key Responsibilities

Developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies

Communicating by advising the board and Operations managers a fundraising strategy and overseeing the execution of these initiatives

Generating funding from new and existing partners

Contributing to organisational growth through Fundraising strategy and philanthropy planning and executing online campaigns

Keep current with issues and trends in fundraising in order to make recommendations for implementation when relevant and appropriate and communicate this to the Operations managers and the board when necessary.

Utilising digital platforms such as social media, email marketing, and data analysis.
About you

- Familiarity with online fundraising platforms and social media.
- Proficient in digital skills, including email marketing, data analysis, and content creation.
Experience:
- Previous experience in fundraising and/or philanthropy in a charity for Not-for-profit related field is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of IT Systems, CRM software, and data privacy best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
